It was the Russians who invaded us first. Then the Germans. And then the Russians again, then they occupied us for 50 years. And they (including you) have the nerve to call themselves heros and liberators. Estonia was economically equal to Finland before the war and look what a mess it was in the early 90´s. "Depending on Russians for food." Again what a load of bullshit.
It´s because the Russians invaded us longer and thus did much much more evil to us, we hate USSR more. They were both evil regimes and they should be both equally condemned. I can´t imagine anyone coming to this forum and defending the nazi regime. They would be banned instantly. And then you just stroll here defending the criminal USSR and noone in the Western world even lifts an eyebrow. Sad and sickening.
To quote the character Dick from the TV show "Third rock from the Sun": "Smoking only takes years off the end of your life... And those years suck anyway."
I never got that. It´s just a game. What possible pressure could there be from a team? Atleast I´ve never felt it. Maybe in endurance races where there are driver swaps. Then I wouldn´t want to let the team down but I´ve never done those races. It´s not like anything really important is on the line, just a bit of Internet pride.
I guess Italy played "well" because they kept to their tactics. Only thing they failed at was scoring a freak goal during a rare counterattack (although Camoranesi came close). Spain were clearly trying to create something but unfortunately the Italians are just so damn good at killing the game. I´m so glad Spain won. There is justice in the world.
Kev, I kind of miss England. It´s always amusing when they don´t win (and they haven´t for 40 years) then the fans and the press rip the coach and the players to pieces. What ever happened to supporting your team through better or worse times. To me the English fans seem like the most unloyal fans in the world. I wouldn´t even call them fans because they seem to only support the team when they´re winning.
Edit: I almost forgot... Luca Toni´s moustache was great. That combined with the constant surprised "I didn´t do anything"-look made him look like a mobster from a Godfather movie.
Oh great, now I had to hear those plonkers scream "Rossija, Rossija" again. I hope they loose in the semifinal. They´ve won so many things this year already (hockey WC, UEFA cup, Euroleague basketball, Eurovision ). Enough is enough. The smugness would go through the roof if they won this aswell.
His face got into pain because the german stepped on his foot while running away. Ronaldo made it look worse than it really was but it was still a dirty move by Friedrich and a well deserved yellow card.
And if were talking about dirty tricks then what about Ballack pushing the defender in the back during the third goal?
In that case making a cake is cooking too because making a cake is baking and baking is cooking.
Also if you call making a hamburger cooking then what´s the difference between making that and making a bacon sandwich? If you slap the bacon between buns then is that cooking?
